Advance Beverage Company was founded by the late John Ferrari in 1954. It has prospered over the years and has evolved into the premier beverage distributor in Kern County.

In 1971, Advance Beverage Company was purchased by the William K. Lazzerini family. At that time, thirteen people were employed with sales of approximately 450,000 cases per year. Primary brands were Olympia and Anheuser-Busch products.

Today, Advance Beverage Company is operated by Bill Lazzerini Jr. and family. Advance Beverage is continually recognized as one of the outstanding Anheuser-Busch distributors in the nation. Since 1982, the company has been annually awarded the Anheuser-Busch Ambassador Award which symbolizes the best of the best. Currently, Advance Beverage employs 150 individuals with annual sales exceeding 5 million cases

Advance Beverage Company proudly offers Kern County a Sales Force that has all been Cicerone Beer Certified.  This is one of very few distributors in the nation to be able to have that honor.
